"Everybody... Rock the SBAC"
If you heard some familiar beats coming from the assembly hall this week, your ears weren't playing tricks on you. To get our students pumped up and ready for the upcoming SBAC Testing, the teachers at Tanaka Elementary took to the stage (and the recording studio) to drop the ultimate motivational anthem.
Set to the tune of the Backstreet Boys' classic "Everybody (Backstreet's Back)," our amazing staff rewrote the lyrics to focus on one thing: Showing what you know!

We know that testing season can bring a few butterflies. Our goal with this presentation was to remind our students that:
You are prepared: You’ve worked hard all year.
Stay focused: Take your time and read the questions carefully.
We believe in you: Your teachers are your biggest fans!
The "Testing Remix" Tips:
In between the dance moves, the teachers shared some "Pro-Tips" for testing week:
Get your Z's: A well-rested brain is a sharp brain.
Power Breakfast: Fuel up before the bell rings.
Deep Breaths: If a question looks tough, take a breath and try your best.
