Tanaka Tabloid - October 2026

Dear Tanaka Students, Families, and Community,

Happy October! As the autumn air crispens and the leaves begin to change, we are fully embracing the crisp fall weather and the festive energy it brings to our school community. October is always a special time of year, and we have plenty of exciting learning and activities planned for our students.

To celebrate the season, we are thrilled to invite you all to our annual Haunted Harvest Fest!

Date: Thursday, October 23rd

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Activities: Join us for a fun-filled evening featuring Trunk or Treat, a spooky Haunted Hallway, games, activities, and much more!

This is a wonderful opportunity for our families, students, and staff to come together, enjoy the fall weather, and create lasting memories. We hope to see everyone there for a fantastic night of community and Halloween fun!

Fall friendly reminder, consistent attendance is essential to your child's success, so please avoid early check-outs whenever possible; when students leave early, they miss critical instruction and hands-on learning that cannot be replicated.

With gratitude and cheer,

Ms. Catano, Principal
