Dear Tanaka Students, Families, and Community,

Welcome to the month of May!

Thank you so much for helping us celebrate Principal’s Day by sending your students to school dressed in blue—my favorite color! It was wonderful to see our campus filled with such school spirit and support.

We are also excited to celebrate the successful completion of SBAC testing. Our students worked incredibly hard, and we are so proud of their efforts. Congratulations as well to our SBAC attendance winners—what an amazing accomplishment!

Next week, we will also celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week as we recognize our incredible teachers for all they do each day. We deeply appreciate their dedication and hope our families will join us in celebrating them throughout the

week!

As we head into the final weeks of the school year, we have several exciting events coming up. Field Day will take place on May 15th, and we look forward to a fun-filled day for our students. We will also be hosting our upcoming awards assemblies, along with our Kindergarten and Fifth Grade promotion ceremonies—special milestones worth

celebrating!

This has truly been a wonderful year, and we couldn’t have done it without your continued support and partnership. Thank you for being such an important part of our school community.
